QTRA Calculator

The QTRA Calculator allows you to easily carry out a Quantified Tree Risk Assessment on a Windows desktop computer and some mobile devices. By downloading the QTRA Calculator software, you are agreeing to the terms of the QTRA Calculator Licence. The licence agreement can be downloaded below.

On first use of the QTRA Calculator and on annual renewal, you will be asked to obtain a Licence Key.  You will be provided with a serial number, which is required by our Key Generator when encrypting your Licence Key.  You can copy and paste the serial number into the Key Generator (below). When installing on Windows devices, you are provided with a hyperlink, which brings you back to this page and automatically enters your serial number into the Key Generator. You must be logged in as a Registered User to download the software and generate a registration key. The Key Generator has an option for the i0S operating system, but this should not be used as the software is not available for i0S devices.

QTRA Version 5 Calculator Downloads

QTRA Version 5 is the current method and supersedes Version 4. 

Download the QTRA Calculator installation file and run the intallation on your desktop or tablet PC. The Windows Desktop installation requires Microsoft .NET Framework to be installed on your device. If .Net Framework is not installed, you will be prompted to download it from the Microsoft website.

Incoporating QTRA data into third-party software

QTRA data can be incorporated into third-party tree survey software. If you are a developer, we can provide the calculator under licence for use in your software by Registered QTRA Users.

If you are a Registered QTRA Users and want to incorporate QTRA data into your own spreadsheet or database, email admin@qtra.co.uk and we will supply the data set in spreadsheet format for use only by Registered QTRA Users under the terms of your End User Licence Agreement.
